Humic80 is a 100% soluble humic acid extracted from Leonardite (the best mineral source of humic acid). Humic 80 is a highly concentrated source of Carbon.
It increases the uptake of mineral nutrients by plants and contains a high analysis of Oxygen, which promotes root growth and nutrient uptake.
Humic80 is an excellent chelating agent as it has the capability of unlocking nutrients within the soil, as well as making applied nutrients highly available.
These features reduce the leaching affect of nutrients on high sand profiles and increasing fertiliser eficiency.
The humic acid in Humic80 has a high water holding and cation exchange capacity (ranges from 150 - 500meq / 100g), which is approximately 10 - 30 times higher tahn the average soil.
The colloidal nature of Humic80 allows it to absorb a large quantity of water molecules, thereby increasing the water holding capacity of soil which is critical in high sand profiles.
Humic80 applications can improve soil particle aggregation, and as a result, can increase soil aeration, tilth and workability as well as providing improved water movement.
